The Philippines is situated on the Pacific Ring of Fire and has high potential for geothermal energy. The Philippines is considered as an emerging industrialized nation; its economy has shifted from agriculture to services and the industrial sector. In 2017, The Philippines is a republic nation which consists of 80 provinces and 29 chartered cities.
