Launched in 2014, the Solar Nova which is one the Government efforts to accelerate the deployment of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems has successfully achieved electricity generation capacity of 350 Megawatt-peak in the 1st quarter of 2020. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Singaporean government provided a $100 credit rebate for all household consumers and also additional relaxation for those affected by the pandemic.
