Renewable Energy Financing in Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Myanmar
To support the great efforts of CLM governments in providing applicable policy and financial support frameworks, the ASEAN-German Energy Programme (AGEP)—a jointly implemented project by ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)— has completed a study on The Renewable Energy Financing in Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar: Support Framework, Challenges and Policy Recommendations. This study supports the RE Programme under the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) and aims to provide a reference for policymakers and other related and interested stakeholders to explore RE policy and financial support mechanisms in CLM.
