The Energy Regulatory Commission of Thailand has published it’s regulation on power purchase from solar PV rooftop. This Regulation is called the “power purchase from solar PV rooftop, B.E. 2556.”

The regulation is applicable to a purchase of power from VSPP (very small power producers) or individuals who intend to generate electricity from a solar PV rooftop system with a sale capacity of up to 10 MW.

The regulation covers Procedure of Power Purchase from VSPP and Evaluation Criteria, Criteria and Method of Power Purchase Calculation, Connection and Equipment Inspection Fees.
