A photovoltaic system, also PV system or solar power system, is a power system designed to supply usable solar power by means of Solar Energy. Solar energy can be used for the direct supply of solar heat to buildings and industrial processes. Solar based electricity can be produced by photovoltaic cells, or through steam turbines by the concentration of solar rays.
