To reduce fuel import reliance and expenditures, Indonesia has been introducing mandatory mix requirements of palm-based biodiesel to the market. The success of the B30 mandate has brought to the trials of B40 starting in 2020. In the power sector, renewable energy is deployed through the 3 MW Hamparan biogas project and is expected to export 18 GWh of power to the grid. Please see more information here:
